Council, at its ordinary meeting held on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 formally approved the naming of the bridge over Beragoo Creek and the bridge over Grattai Creek on Hill End Road in the locality of Grattai. The Coordination will be offered to an applicant in line with the Memorandum of Understanding for the site. Providers are asked to address the following criteria: Ability to meet the requirements of the Memorandum of Understanding (any suggested changes to the Memorandum of Understanding should be highlighted) Experience of the organisation, including relationship to and knowledge of the Gulgong region and its history Plan for the coordination of the facility including the use of any volunteers Relevant statement in relation to organisation operations, including Workplace Health & Safety Certificate of Currency of Public Liability Insurance of at least $20 million with Mid-Western Regional Council listed as an interested party Relevant experience of the proposed Coordinator, including tourism and promotions experience All applications are to be addressed to the General Manager and are to be submitted either via post or email by no later than 4.00pm, Friday 23 January 2026.
